Three men injured in shooting outside south Minneapolis grocery store

A shooting near a Cub Foods grocery store in south Minneapolis on Sunday afternoon left three men injured, prompting an immediate police investigation. Around 1:45 p. m. , two gunmen emerged from a vehicle and fired multiple shots at a man who was walking with his child. Thankfully, the child was unharmed, while the man sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Two other men in the vicinity were also struck by gunfire and required medical attention. The injured individuals were taken to HCMC, with one choosing to refuse treatment. The police are diligently working to uncover the circumstances that led to this violent event, but as of now, no arrests have been made. The Cub Foods store temporarily closed following the shooting but reopened later that day. This incident raises concerns about public safety in the area, highlighting the ongoing challenges related to gun violence in urban settings.
