New Twin Cities area vintage market aims to offer best of the best
The Standard, a biannual vintage market, debuts in Minneapolis on Sunday, showcasing over 20 vendors offering clothing, home goods, and handmade items. Hosted by Olio Vintage and Rosella Vintage, the market aims to provide a curated shopping experience, with prices ranging from $20 to hundreds of dollars. Organizers Martinson and Peloquin emphasize quality, stating they prefer a smaller market to prevent overwhelming customers. The market will also include six local artists selling unique handmade jewelry and art. All resident vendors from Olio will participate, bringing their best items for the event.
With such diverse offerings, shoppers can expect styles from Victorian to Y2K. The Standard may return in spring with a new lineup of vendors, expanding the local vintage scene. This initiative reflects a growing interest in curated vintage shopping experiences in the Twin Cities.
