Annunciation Church hosts festival as community works to not be defined by violence
SeptemberFest at Annunciation Catholic Church successfully united the community following a tragic shooting that left two children dead. Families gathered to share stories and memories, with many recognizing the festival as a necessary step toward healing. "People need this. They need to be together," said longtime parishioner Jen Campbell, highlighting the event's significance. Community leaders, who initially questioned whether to proceed with the festival, ultimately embraced the opportunity for collective healing.

But it feels good to be here.
