Minneapolis opened a Neighborhood Assistance Center to assist individuals affected by recent shootings on Lake Street. The center, run in collaboration with The Family Partnership, offers various services, including mental health support, spiritual care, and victim services information. Operating hours are set from 10 a. m. to 2 p.

m. through Sunday at 1527 E. Lake St. Mayor Jacob Frey stated, "Minneapolis is making sure every impacted neighbor has a safe place to turn for support. " The center also provides resources for unsheltered individuals, human trafficking prevention, and household safety information.

This initiative reflects the city's commitment to addressing the needs of its community amid rising violence.
