A public memorial for Harper Moyski, the 10-year-old girl tragically killed in the Annunciation Church shooting, is set for September 14 at the Lake Harriet Bandshell in Minneapolis. Family and friends will gather to celebrate Harper's life with music, food, and laughter, honoring the joy she brought to those around her. According to her family, Harper dreamed of becoming a veterinarian and was deeply passionate about animals, social justice, and the environment. They highlighted her inquisitive nature and ability to engage in meaningful discussions about fairness and injustice. The Moyski family had ambitious plans to visit all 63 national parks before Harper graduated from college, with her leading the way on each adventure.

The memorial will provide food and refreshments for attendees, emphasizing the community's support. Family members expressed that Harper's spirit and lessons on kindness and curiosity will continue to live on. Additionally, services for Fletcher Merkel, another victim of the shooting, will be held at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church.
