Man charged with shooting everywhere and killing man outside downtown Minneapolis home

Deshon Kanye Gregory, 20, has been charged with second-degree murder and three counts of attempted second-degree murder in connection with a shooting that killed Lafayette Collaso, 30, outside a home in downtown Minneapolis. A nationwide warrant for Gregory's arrest has been issued following the incident on Tuesday. Witnesses reported that Gregory arrived at the residence demanding $40 from a woman he had a relationship with before opening fire. Police discovered Collaso on the front porch, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly after emergency responders arrived. Gregory has two other pending cases in Hennepin County for assault and sexual assault, raising concerns about his history of violence.

The shooting occurred in a neighborhood already grappling with issues of gun violence and public safety. Authorities have not yet apprehended Gregory, prompting calls for increased law enforcement efforts.
