Authorities have identified man found dead near Target Field

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the deceased man found near Target Field as 24-year-old Seloman Robiel Kebede. Kebede was located unresponsive on 7th Street at approximately 9:45 p. m. on June 13 and was pronounced dead at a hospital. Initially, the Medical Examiner sought public help in identifying him, sharing images of his clothing and a sketch.

The cause of his death is still under investigation, prompting concerns among local residents about safety in the area. Authorities have emphasized the importance of gathering more information to determine the circumstances surrounding Kebede's death. The incident reflects ongoing issues of urban safety in Minneapolis, as community members seek answers. Local officials are committed to ensuring transparency as the investigation unfolds.
