The Mill Creek City Council will honor the 2024 Great Garden Award recipients at a meeting on October 8, 2024, with a presentation starting at 6:00 p. m. The event, organized by the Art & Beautification Board, aims to recognize residents who have shown exceptional creativity and commitment in enhancing their garden spaces. This year, twelve deserving recipients have been selected, showcasing a variety of beautiful gardens across the city. Councilmember John Steckler, who represents the Art & Beautification Board, highlighted the significance of this recognition, stating, “We are so grateful to have a chance once a year to recognize those citizens who also take great pride in the appearance of their homes.
