Neighborhood Disaster Preparedness Workshops in Mill Creek
Mill Creek is initiating Neighborhood Disaster Preparedness workshops to prepare the community for potential disasters. Scheduled from February to November 2024, these workshops will take place at City Hall North and are designed to foster collaboration among neighbors. Participants will learn the first nine crucial steps to take right after a disaster strikes, ensuring they are ready to respond effectively. The workshops will also cover how to identify safety hazards, such as gas leaks and water main shutoffs. Registration is free, making it accessible for anyone interested in enhancing their disaster preparedness skills.
