Community Transit is set to implement a Sunday schedule for its bus services during the upcoming Christmas and New Year’s holidays. This adjustment ensures that riders can still access public transportation during festive periods. Specifically, on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, the Zip Alderwood Shuttle will continue its regular service hours from 5 a. m. to 10 p.

m. , though Customer Care services will be unavailable. New Year’s Eve presents a unique opportunity for riders, as they can travel for free on all Community Transit buses, DART, and Sound Transit services. The same Sunday schedule will apply on New Year’s Day, further promoting convenient transit options. Community Transit encourages all riders to plan their trips ahead of time and to reach out to Customer Care for any assistance.

The agency is committed to improving connectivity within Snohomish County, including the expansion of its Swift bus rapid transit network. This initiative aims to enhance access to light rail and provide efficient service throughout the region.
