City Announces Appointment of New Councilmember

Sean Paddock has been appointed to the Mill Creek City Council, officially taking his seat on September 13, 2022, after a unanimous vote by the council. His appointment came during a meeting where five candidates were interviewed to fill the vacancy left by former Councilmember Mark Bond. Paddock possesses extensive leadership experience in finance, strategy, and technology, totaling three decades. He is also recognized for his community engagement, having served on the Mill Creek Planning Commission for the past fourteen months. In his swearing-in speech, Paddock articulated his commitment to fostering a collaborative environment among the council and the community.

He highlighted the significance of following through on Mark Bond’s advice, which encourages prioritizing the city's welfare. Paddock's approach is expected to promote positive interactions within the council and with the City Manager.
