Police Department Welcomes Police Officers

The Mill Creek Police Department proudly announced the appointment of two new lateral officers, Theodore Ojeda and Brittney Roy, effective January 18, 2022. With over a decade of combined law enforcement experience, both officers are well-equipped to serve the Mill Creek community. Acting Chief of Police Stan White highlighted their dedication to community service, a core value of the department. Officer Ojeda joins from Tulalip, WA, after eight years as a deputy sheriff and a notable military background, including service in the U. S.

Marine Corps. He is eager to build new relationships in Mill Creek while enjoying outdoor activities such as mountain biking and kayaking. Officer Roy, with five years of experience, previously served with the Seattle Police Department and began her career in New York City. Her passion for police work and the outdoors influenced her move to Washington State in 2018. Together, these officers are expected to enhance community engagement and public safety initiatives in Mill Creek.
