New Councilmembers Elected to Mill Creek City Council

The Mill Creek City Council ushered in new leadership on November 23, 2021, with the swearing-in of Connie Allison and Melissa Duque during a council meeting. Councilmember Connie Allison, who has lived in Mill Creek for eleven years, brings a wealth of experience from her career at Boeing, where she specializes in Engineering and Program Management. Her commitment to fiscal responsibility and safety reflects the needs of the community, and she is eager to foster a secure environment for residents. In contrast, Melissa Duque, a seasoned project manager, has dedicated herself to local volunteer efforts, notably as Chair of the Parks & Recreation Board. Duque holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and History and advocates for effective communication with the community to ensure Mill Creek continues to thrive.
