The individual was booked for multiple charges, including assault, and spent nine days in the Marysville Jail before being transferred to a more appropriate facility. During his time there, he exhibited troubling behavior such as suicide threats and self-harm, yet the staff managed to care for him without using force. Officers provided him with crayons, a coloring book, and a Bible, demonstrating a commitment to treating him with dignity and respect. Their efforts included arranging for showers and actively seeking a more suitable housing option.

After nine days, the inmate was successfully transported to Providence Hospital for mental health treatment.
