The City of Marysville's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program for Program Year 2024 detailed substantial progress, with a total expenditure of $284,935. 23 aimed at enhancing community services. Major projects included the timely completion of the Marysville Food Bank's re-roof and Boys and Girls Club renovations. Homage Senior Services' Minor Home Repair program nearly achieved its goals, reaching 83% effectiveness. However, the Comeford Park sidewalk project is delayed, pending environmental review and construction logistics, with an estimated start on September 8, 2025.

Public Services projects were generally completed on time, fulfilling their objectives and demonstrating crucial support for local needs. Housing Hope has notably aided homeless and at-risk families for eleven consecutive years, emphasizing the necessity of such initiatives in the face of rising housing costs. The City continues to track outcomes and satisfaction levels among service recipients to ensure effectiveness. Overall, the CDBG program is meeting or exceeding its goals as outlined in the 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan, addressing the escalating demand for community support.
