Mental health panel discussion at Carl Gipson Center June 11

A live panel discussion titled "Taking Care of Your Mental Health" is set for June 11 from 6-8 p. m. at the Carl Gipson Center in Everett. The program will tackle mental health issues, including anxiety, stress, and depression, while focusing on support for individuals from diverse backgrounds. Sponsored by the NAACP of Snohomish County, the event is free but encourages attendees to reserve spots in advance.

Panelists include Shelene Richards, a trauma-informed therapist, DeHeavalyn Pullium, a licensed marriage and family therapist, and Yoel Yohannes, a 988 shift lead at Volunteers of America Western Washington. Kevin P. Henry, a consultant and journalist, will moderate the discussion. Following the panel, attendees can participate in a Q&A session, and community resource information will also be provided. The event underscores the importance of mental health support during challenging times.
