Lynnwood Business Briefs Taiwanese bubble tea and Tokuni to open in late spring

HeChaLou Tea House will open in Lynnwood this summer, offering a variety of Taiwanese bubble tea crafted from loose leaf tea, as stated by franchise owner Sam Wu. The tea house plans to provide eight different bases, which can be combined for customizable tea lattes, alongside fruit teas and slushies. Toppings will include unique items such as black tea jelly and a crane-shaped egg puff, with the expected opening in mid to late June. In addition to HeChaLou, Tokuni will launch a restaurant specializing in Japanese tonkatsu and donburi dishes next door. Owner Viaitip “Goi” Sophonsiwong will provide a 15% discount to the first 50 customers for their first month of service.

HeChaLou, founded in 2019 in Taipei, has expanded to several U. S. locations, indicating a growing demand for diverse food offerings. The openings are anticipated to enhance the culinary landscape of Lynnwood, attracting both residents and visitors. Both establishments highlight the community's increasing embrace of global cuisine.
