Election 2025 Hurst edging Frizzell in mayors race, Binda trails Owings
George Hurst, a Lynnwood City Councilmember, leads incumbent Mayor Christine Frizzell in early election returns, securing 2,766 votes (51. 48%) to Frizzell's 2,582 (48%). In the Position 1 City Council race, incumbent Derica Escamilla is poised to retain her seat with 3,067 votes (58%), while challenger Dio Boucsieguez trails with 2,167 votes (41%). Isabel Mata holds a narrow lead over Ki Seung Cho for Position 2, with 2,653 votes (50%) to Cho's 2,631 (49%). Newcomer Bryce Owings is ahead of incumbent Josh Binda for Position 3.
