In Days Gone By Nile Shrine hosts 15th Annual Scare Experiences event

The Nile Shrine in Mountlake Terrace celebrates its 15th Annual Scare Experiences event, featuring a haunted house supported by over 150 staff and 55 actors. The event includes multiple indoor and outdoor scary zones, offering a range of experiences for attendees. Since its inception as a Halloween celebration in 2010, the event has evolved into a multi-sensory experience with innovative sound, lighting, and sensory elements. Attendees can also participate in four unique escape scenarios, such as “Escape from the Crypt” and “Fright Elevator. ” Live entertainment, food trucks, and vendor offerings add to the festive atmosphere, with a special “Family Funfest” day planned for October 25, allowing children to enjoy the event without scares.

Security and medical personnel will be on-site to ensure safety during the festivities. The Nile Shrine aims to raise funds for Shriners Children's hospitals across North America, making this event not only entertaining but also supportive of a good cause.
