Local nonprofit to celebrate community leaders in annual fundraising breakfast

Leadership Snohomish County (LSC) will host its 10th annual Leadership Day on Oct. 14 at the Tulalip Resort and Casino, from 7:30-9 a. m. , with a fundraising goal of $30,000. This event is LSC's largest fundraiser, supporting leadership development programs and scholarships.

Three awards will be presented, including the Deborah Knutson Women in Leadership Award, with last year's recipients being Linda Nuenzig, Volunteers of America Western Washington, and Steve Woodard, Ph. D. Keynote speaker Rochelle James, CEO of the Tulalip Tribes, brings a wealth of experience as a former board president and LSC alumnus. Kathy Coffey Solberg, LSC's Chief Strategic Officer, highlighted the event's role in celebrating leadership across all demographics. The organization believes investing in future leaders is crucial during these challenging times.
