Heres how you can support veterans through golf equipment donations

Lynnwood, WALocal News

Bill Moore founded a program eight years ago to collect and redistribute golf equipment to veterans, recently passing leadership to Craig Nelson. The American Lake Veterans Golf Course, where the program operates, focuses on helping veterans heal through golf. Moore's efforts have resulted in countless donations, ensuring all items are reconditioned for use. Nelson, a funeral director and Edmonds resident, aims to continue this important work, fostering veterans' rehabilitation. The program provides a meaningful outlet, allowing veterans to reconnect with a cherished pastime.

Community support remains crucial, with donations of golf equipment and monetary contributions encouraged. The drop-off location for donations is Reliable Floors at 542 Main St. in Edmonds. For inquiries, Craig Nelson can be contacted via email.
