Tokuni, a new Japanese restaurant in Lynnwood, is set to have its soft opening from October 1 to 31 at 19888 40th Ave. W. The restaurant focuses on tonkatsu, a deep-fried pork dish served with Japanese rice, miso soup, and shredded cabbage. It will also offer donburi, a rice bowl topped with various ingredients such as meat, seafood, eggs, or vegetables simmered in sauce. Owner Vitaitip “Goi” Sophonsiwong stated that the menu will include additional options like curry, sukiyaki, and vegetarian dishes.

This new establishment aims to enrich the local dining landscape by providing authentic Japanese cuisine in Lynnwood. The restaurant's opening is timely, as residents seek diverse culinary experiences in the area.
