Celebrating 45 years, Arts of the Terrace show runs through Sept. 27

Lynnwood, WALocal News

The Arts of the Terrace show, celebrating its 45th anniversary, offers over 360 pieces of artwork from artists across the U. S. and runs from September 20 to September 27 at the Mountlake Terrace Library. Admission is free, making it accessible to a wide audience. This year, enhanced lighting has improved the display quality, according to Judy Ryan from the Arts Advisory Commission.

Artists have praised the professional presentation of their work, which contrasts with previous shows using only ceiling lights. The commission takes a 25% commission on artwork sales to help fund the event, acknowledging the financial efforts artists invest in their craft. The show includes various art forms, such as paintings, sculptures, and photography. This annual event plays a vital role in promoting local arts and culture within the community.
