Candidate Conversations with Lynnwood City Council and mayoral candidates is set for Oct. 8 at Edmonds College's Black Box Theatre, beginning at 6:30 p. m. Attendees can arrive early as doors open at 6 p. m.

Confirmed candidates include mayors Christine Frizzell and George Hurst, alongside city council candidates Almaderica Escamilla, Dio Bougcsieuez, Isabel Mata, Ki Seung Cho, Josh Binda, Bryce Owings, Robert Leutwyler, and Mpiima Mugambe. The event will feature candidate introductions, discussions moderated by Teresa Wippel and Jaime Mendez, and audience questions chosen at random.
