Virginia Avenue Park (VAP) is a 9. 5-acre community campus located in Santa Monica's Pico Neighborhood, featuring amenities like basketball courts, playgrounds, and a splash pad. The splash pad operates daily from 9 AM to 8 PM from Memorial Day to Labor Day but is currently out of service as maintenance teams work to resolve issues. Additionally, the basketball courts are undergoing renovations, expected to be completed by June 6, 2025. VAP serves as a hub for community-based programs that promote youth and family wellbeing through arts, academics, and engagement.

Residents can visit alternative splash pads at Annenberg Beach House and Tongva Park during the downtime. The park plays a crucial role in fostering community connections and healthy lifestyles.
