Instructions for rescanning include connecting an antenna, accessing the TV menu, and selecting the 'Channel Scan' option. Viewers should expect the scanning process to take up to 30 minutes and may need to adjust their antennas for better reception. If rescanning fails, KTTV encourages viewers to contact them for assistance. The new format will also introduce a lineup change, with Fox Weather replacing the previous simulcast on 11. 2, enhancing the station's offerings.
