This win also secured him a $10,000 bonus as part of the Marathon Chase, emphasizing his outstanding performance. In the women’s category, Ethiopian runner Tejinesh Gebisa Tulu claimed victory with a time of 2:30:16. Richtman, a former All-American at Montana State, expressed his exhilaration, saying, “I put my foot on the gas and went with it.

” His success in this marathon is significant not only for his personal achievements but also as he prepares for the 2028 Summer Games set to take place in Los Angeles. Thousands of runners participated in the 40th running of the marathon, showcasing the event's popularity and community spirit.
