Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and Governor Gavin Newsom announced the successful relocation of 40 unhoused individuals from a dangerous encampment beneath the 110 Freeway in South LA. Governor Newsom highlighted the significance of state-local partnerships in providing effective solutions for homelessness.

Inside Safe has completed over 100 operations, bringing thousands of individuals indoors and contributing to a notable decline in makeshift shelters and encampments. Recent reports indicate that permanent housing placements in the city are at an all-time high. The RAND Corporation's findings reveal a 49% decrease in street homelessness in Hollywood, linking improvements to the Inside Safe program's efforts. This collaborative approach aims to continue reducing homelessness and providing safe living conditions for all Angelenos.
