Mayor Bass Announces Appointment for Los Angeles City Clerk

Mayor Bass appointed Patrice Lattimore as the new Clerk for Los Angeles, emphasizing her extensive experience within the City Clerk's Office. With over two decades in public service, Lattimore will focus on enhancing technological advancements and transparency in municipal governance. The Mayor noted the critical need for strong leadership as elections approach and the Charter Reform Commission process unfolds. Lattimore expressed her excitement about delivering innovation and transparency for Angelenos. Currently, she serves as Chief Management Analyst, where she has implemented a legislative management system and improved language accessibility.

Lattimore holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Southern California and a Master's in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Los Angeles Pacific University. Mayor Bass thanked interim City Clerk Petty Santos for her service until Lattimore's confirmation. Lattimore’s appointment will undergo review by the Government Operations Committee before being presented to the full City Council.
