London, UKLocal News

Three masked intruders who robbed Olympic cyclist Mark Cavendish at knifepoint must repay £754,525 within three months or face six additional years in prison. The Chelmsford Crown Court revealed that the gang stole two luxury Richard Mille watches valued at £400,000 and £350,000, which remain missing. Judge Alexander Mills pointed out that the watches were never recovered and noted their value as a "store of wealth. " Henry, 34, and Sesay, 30, received prison sentences of 15 and 12 years, respectively, while Jobson, 28, was sentenced to 15 years after evading capture. The court ordered them to pay a total of £5,256 in compensation to Cavendish and his wife, Peta.

Jobson had been paid £4,000 for his involvement, with a promise of an additional £6,000 that was never delivered. Judge Mills emphasized that each defendant benefited financially from the robbery and that the stolen items were significant. The case underscores the ongoing issue of high-profile robberies targeting wealthy individuals.
