Tommy Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, was released on police bail after being arrested at Luton Airport in connection with an assault at St Pancras railway station on July 28. The British Transport Police confirmed the arrest of the 42-year-old man from Bedfordshire, who is suspected of grievous bodily harm. He fled to Tenerife shortly after the incident but was apprehended upon returning. A man involved in the incident sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and has since been released from the hospital. Video footage circulating on social media depicted Robinson near a man who was motionless on the ground, but it did not clarify how the man ended up there.

Robinson was approached for comment by a BBC reporter, to which he responded with a derogatory message. Despite the arrest, he has continued to post on his personal X account without addressing the situation. The police investigation remains ongoing, with inquiries expected to continue until at least September 2.
