Murder accused searched for 'fatal blows' online

London, UKLocal News

The trial of Yostin Mosquera, 35, centers on the gruesome murders of Paul Longworth and Albert Alfonso, whose dismembered bodies were discovered in suitcases in London. Evidence presented in court indicates that Mosquera made online searches for phrases related to fatal blows and chest freezers on the day of the killings. While he admitted to the manslaughter of Alfonso, he denies murdering either man, claiming self-defense during a violent encounter. The court heard recordings of the incident, with Mosquera questioning his victim during the attack. Prosecutor Deanna Heer KC suggested that Mosquera had premeditated the murders, supported by his online search history.

A white plastic bag containing Longworth's DNA was found, raising further questions about the events leading to the murders. Mosquera asserts that he feared for his own life and believed Alfonso had already killed Longworth. The trial remains ongoing as the jury considers the evidence presented.
