Neighborhood Grants Workshop Scheduled for October 15 in Lewisville

Lewisville Neighborhood Services is set to host a free workshop on October 15, designed to help residents understand home repair resources and grant opportunities available in the city. The event will take place at the Queen Margaret Community Center at 6:30 p. m. During the workshop, participants will learn about funding programs such as the Property Enhancement Program, which offers financial assistance for exterior home repairs, providing a 50 percent matching grant-rebate. The Love Your Block initiative, a $500 reimbursable mini grant, is also highlighted, aimed at fostering community-building activities within neighborhoods.

Furthermore, the Neighborhood Enhancement Program provides matching grants of up to $12,500 for neighborhood groups looking to enhance their local environment. These programs are aligned with the city’s “Diverse and Thriving Neighborhoods” goal in the Lewisville 2025 vision plan, which aims to improve community vitality.
