The Lake Forest Park Light Show Spectacular has evolved into a heartwarming charitable initiative that supports the homeless community. Organized by Jason Bowens and his family, the event began during the pandemic and has grown in size and ambition each year. This holiday season, the Bowens are aiming to raise $3,000 for Mary's Place, a nonprofit dedicated to providing safe shelter and essential services for homeless women and families. "It's been great doing this for the community," Bowens emphasized, highlighting the importance of recognition for organizations like Mary's Place. The display is set at 5030 NE 197th Street, where visitors can enjoy a dazzling array of lights while supporting a worthy cause.

Donations can be easily made through a dedicated Facebook fundraiser page, making it accessible for everyone to contribute. The event not only fosters community spirit but also raises awareness about homelessness in the area.
