On January 27, 2024, a suspect burglarized a home on 6th Avenue SE, disabling security cameras to facilitate the crime and stealing bicycles and instruments. Just days later, on February 1, another incident was reported where two individuals made off with around $1,700 worth of merchandise from Ulta Beauty. These incidents underscore the need for community vigilance and cooperation with law enforcement. The police department has made it clear that any information from the public could be instrumental in solving these cases.
