Kirkland City Council Tackles Affordable Housing Challenges

The calculation of in-lieu fees for affordable housing also sparked debate, with skepticism over the feasibility of a proposed $400,000 fee per unit. Although no formal vote occurred, council members agreed to continue refining housing policies in upcoming sessions.
