The Kirkland Police Department (KPD) is set to host a free Gun Safety Class on December 18, 2024, aimed at fostering responsible firearm ownership within the community. This initiative reflects KPD's commitment to enhancing safety practices related to firearms. Led by experienced law enforcement officers, the program will cover essential topics such as proper handling, storage techniques, and tips for preventing firearm-related accidents. The class is available to residents aged 21 and older who reside within Kirkland city limits, with a limited capacity of 20 participants requiring registration through Eventbrite.
