Kirkland Police Seek Help in Locating Missing Vulnerable Adult

The Kirkland Police Department is actively seeking the public's assistance to locate 66-year-old David Harger, who went missing from his home in the Kingsgate area of Kirkland on August 21, 2024. Harger is described as 5’11” tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark red t-shirt, dark knit pants, and black Velcro shoes, and had a black pouch around his neck containing necessary medication. Due to his medical condition, which includes a need for consistent care, Harger is prone to falling, disorientation, and confusion. The police have been working alongside King County Search and Rescue and have utilized aerial systems and ground teams to search for him.

Harger does not have access to a vehicle but might use the King County Metro bus system. He has been entered into Washington State’s missing persons database with a Silver Alert issued. The Kirkland Police urge anyone with information to contact them or 911 if they see Harger.
