IHCA 2025-26 Master Budget

Issaquah, WALocal News

The Issaquah Highlands Community Association (IHCA) Board of Directors has finalized the 2025-26 master budget, which proposes a $36 increase in the annual assessment, raising it to $1,044 effective July 1, 2025. This budget was prepared with careful consideration by the Finance Committee, which has been actively monitoring financials throughout the year. It accounts for a total unit count of 3,648, including new developments in the community, which helps offset increased operating expenses. The overall operating expenses have grown by 4%, amounting to an additional $133,000 compared to last year. Despite these increases, the budget aims to keep the community financially stable by contributing to reserves and restructuring operational costs.

Homeowners can express their opinions at the budget ratification meeting scheduled for April 21, 2025, where a quorum is not required for the budget to pass. Voting options include email and U. S. mail, ensuring that residents can participate even if they cannot attend the meeting. This process underscores the IHCA's commitment to transparency and community involvement in financial decisions.
