The Eastside Climate Partnership has officially launched the Solarize Eastside program, designed to assist residents and businesses in implementing solar panel installations across six cities: Redmond, Bellevue, Issaquah, Kirkland, Mercer Island, and Sammamish. From now until July 4, 2025, interested parties can sign up for free solar assessments that will yield detailed proposals at reduced rates from certified solar installers. To further ease financial burdens, the Puget Sound Cooperative Credit Union is providing special financing options for participants. Solar panel installations promise benefits such as decreased energy bills and the ability to earn utility credits through net metering. The program collaborates with reputable local installers, ensuring quality equipment and service.

Free community workshops will be available throughout the initiative, offering insights into solar energy and the incentives that accompany it. Attendees will have the chance to engage with experts and ask questions directly, enhancing the program's accessibility. Overall, Solarize Eastside represents a significant step towards sustainability and reducing climate pollution in the region.
