Register Now: Fall CERT Class Starts in October

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training course in Issaquah is set to commence on October 8, 2024, providing residents with vital skills for emergency situations. Participants will learn how to effectively manage incidents and assist their communities during disasters when professional services are unavailable. The training encompasses various topics, such as disaster psychology, fire safety, and medical triage, delivered through lectures, videos, and hands-on exercises. While the fall session is already at capacity, individuals interested in attending can register for a waitlist, as spots may become available. A final disaster simulation will take place on November 9, allowing participants to apply their knowledge in a realistic setting.
