Fall City, WALocal News

An attempted break-in at a firearms store in Fall City, Washington, led to a police chase and the arrest of five suspects early on December 6, 2024. The group consisted of four teenagers aged 13, 16, and 17, along with a 20-year-old. They fled in a stolen vehicle after noticing a patrol car, prompting a brief pursuit that ended with a crash on Northeast Tolt Hill Road near Ames Lake. The 20-year-old, who reportedly claimed to be driving, was arrested at the scene, while the four teenagers initially escaped into the woods. All five suspects were later apprehended and booked into the King County Juvenile Detention Center.

The King County Sheriff's Office has recommended serious charges, including first-degree burglary and possession of a stolen vehicle, with the 20-year-old facing an additional charge for attempting to evade law enforcement. This incident raises concerns about youth involvement in crime and the prevalence of stolen vehicles in the area, as deputies also recovered two stolen cars, a Hyundai and a Kia, during the investigation.
