WSP Releases Details on the High Speed-Chase That Ended in the Puget Sound
A high-speed chase culminated in tragedy when a Mini Cooper drove off the Edmonds ferry dock, resulting in two fatalities. The Washington State Patrol initiated the pursuit after observing the vehicle speeding on I-5. Deputies resumed the chase after the Mini Cooper exceeded 100 mph, ultimately leading to the crash into 40 feet of water.
