Sno-Isle Tech Skills Center Had a School Lock Down Today

Everett, WALocal News

Sno-Isle Tech Skills Center conducted a lockdown from 11:18 a. m. to 11:40 a. m. today as law enforcement responded to a security incident on Airport Road.

Parents received alerts regarding the situation, which involved a blue Hyundai Santa Fe fleeing police on Mukilteo Speedway. The vehicle, which had a deflated tire, was linked to a suspect described as a white male in his 20s to 30s with scruffy blond facial hair. The suspect is wanted for eluding officers and obstruction. Law enforcement located the vehicle unoccupied on State Route 526 and Airport Way, likely causing the lockdown at the school. While officials have not confirmed whether the suspect was detained, the brief nature of the lockdown suggests a swift response.

This incident highlights ongoing concerns regarding school safety and local law enforcement's ability to address threats quickly. The situation underscores the importance of communication between schools and parents during emergencies.
