The Perennial Path A Walk Talk Series Spring Bulbs Bloomers
On April 12, 2025, the WSU Extension Master Gardeners of Snohomish County will host the second event in their engaging educational series, "The Perennial Path: A Walk & Talk Series. " This session will be led by Lee Borgatta, a knowledgeable co-manager of the Master Gardener Perennial Border Demonstration Garden and board member of the Evergreen Arboretum & Gardens. Attendees will learn to identify, select, and cultivate spring bulb plants and perennial flowers currently in bloom at the stunning Evergreen Arboretum. The event is free and open to the public, with no prior registration needed, inviting anyone interested in gardening to participate. Guests should meet at the entrance columns at noon, dressed for the weather and ready to ask questions.
The purpose of this program is to provide science-based public education on effective gardening practices, enhancing the community's gardening skills. The Evergreen Arboretum itself serves as a vital resource, showcasing a diverse range of perennial plants suitable for local gardens. This initiative not only fosters gardening expertise but also strengthens community ties through shared interests in horticulture.
