Among the honorees are former My Everett News publisher Leland Dart and former City Council Chair Brenda Stonecipher, both recognized for their longstanding dedication to the arts. The awards ceremony is scheduled for April 10, 2025, at the Everett Performing Arts Center, promising an evening of local performances and light refreshments. Dart, who transitioned to a photography career after retiring, has been honored with the Mayor's Arts Award, alongside other noteworthy recipients like the Bunker Arts Collective and the Huong Viet Performing Arts Group. Stonecipher has received the prestigious Wendt Award for her exceptional support of the arts over her decades-long public service.

The event aims to foster community spirit and showcase local talent, featuring performances from youth bands, traditional music, and dance.
