Man Stabbed to Death in Downtown Marysville

This morning, at approximately 6:17 am, Marysville Police were called to the 1200 block of 2nd St to assist with a report of a 66-year-old man found unconscious. A neighbor had begun CPR, but upon arrival, officers discovered the man had suffered stab wounds. Despite the efforts of both the police and the Marysville Fire Department, the victim unfortunately died at the scene. In response, authorities deployed a police K-9 and drone to search for any suspects. The Marysville Investigations Unit is actively investigating the case, emphasizing that they believe this to be an isolated incident with no threat to the community.
