New director appointed to lead Everett Transit

Mike Schmieder has been appointed as the new director of Everett Transit by Mayor Cassie Franklin, taking over from Tom Hingson, who retired after a distinguished 25-year career. Schmieder, who began his journey with Everett Transit in 2008 as a fixed route operator, brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to community service.
