The City of Everett is organizing a mini-recycling collection event on April 5, 2025, from 9 a. m. until capacity is reached or 3 p. m. The event will take place in Lot B of Everett Station, providing residents with a convenient opportunity to dispose of various household items responsibly.

Among the accepted materials are oil and latex paint, electronics, and confidential documents for shredding, which underscores the city's commitment to environmental sustainability. Mayor Cassie Franklin highlighted the significance of community collaboration, stating that partnerships with regional and state agencies enhance these recycling initiatives. Residents are encouraged to review the complete list of accepted items and any potential processing fees beforehand to ensure a smooth experience. The recycling event is made possible through funding from Everett’s Local Solid Waste Financial Assistance grant from the Washington Department of Ecology.
