Missing Man Found Dead in Alley in Downtown Everett

On November 6th, a body was discovered in an alley in downtown Everett, believed to belong to 71-year-old Daniel Lytton, who was reported missing on November 5th. Lytton, a local landlord, was last seen near his home on Grand Avenue, and his car was found parked nearby. Witnesses described him as a 5’9″ white male with green eyes and a British accent, last seen wearing cargo pants and a dark shirt. Residents expressed alarm over the circumstances of his disappearance, with one suggesting he may have been kidnapped and murdered. The body was found wrapped in a blanket and duct tape, with signs indicating a violent death.

Police have not confirmed the identity of the body but are treating the case as a possible homicide. The incident has sparked concern within the community, highlighting the need for vigilance.
